Saturday October 10, 2009 Lions Food Trailer Noon – 4 PM “Pumpkin Olympics” starting at Noon - Sign-up at the Pumpkin Patch for all events. Ribbons and Medals will be awarded for each age group. Ages: (2-4), (5-7), (8-10), (11-15), and (16 and older). All events will be at the Pumpkin Patch, unless otherwise noted. Time and place for each Pumpkin Olympic event will be posted. Events: Pumpkin Croquet, Pumpkin Carry, Pie Eating, Pumpkin Shot Put, Pumpkin Roll, Pumpkin Seed Spitting (ages 4 & older), Bean Bags (ages 2-3) Hayrides in the Park- 1 –4 PM
Sunday October 11, 2009 3rd Annual Area 28 Special Olympics 1K Run/Walk Sign-up 1 PM Race Begins at 1:30. Participation ribbons will be given to each athlete and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place ribbons will be awarded. Wheel Chair Participation encouraged
11th Annual Pumpkin Trot 10K/Run,5K Run/Walk, & Special 1K run for boys and girls up through 11 years of age; Plus a Kids Dash for boys & girls up through 6 years of age. Race contestants must register between noon & 1:00 PM at the Main Pavilion. All races start and finish at the City Park. In-Line Skaters Welcome
